Product Description

NACE MR0175 Sour Service High Speed Centrifugal Pump

Sour service is unforgiving. Wet H2S streams cause sulfide stress cracking in ordinary steels, so equipment bound for sour hydrocarbon duty must be engineered for the environment and documented against NACE MR0175 requirements. This CRA clad pump is built for exactly that condition.

Fitted with corrosion resistant alloy wetted parts and hardened seal faces, this integrally geared API 610 OH6 machine handles high-head sour hydrocarbon process duty without the cracking and corrosion risk of standard materials.

The high speed centrifugal pump core uses a precision-ground gearbox, a balanced vertical rotor and low-NPSHr inducer to maintain stable suction performance in two-phase-prone sour streams. Sealing is specified as double or tandem with a compliant barrier fluid to contain toxic H2S.

Hardness control, material traceability and hydrostatic testing are documented under ISO 9001 production. Every unit ships with NACE compliant material certificates and dimensional reports, giving sour service projects the assurance they require.

Because sour service failures are costly and often safety critical, we treat compliance as a design input from the first drawing: alloy selection, hardness verification and seal arrangement are all specified up front for wet H2S duty.

Key Advantages
  • NACE MR0175 compliance: materials and hardness are controlled for wet H2S service.
  • CRA clad wetted parts: resist sulfide stress cracking and general corrosion.
  • Low NPSHr inducer: handles two-phase prone sour streams.
  • Containment sealing: double or tandem seals for toxic H2S protection.
  • Full traceability: NACE material certificates issued with each pump.
Typical Applications
  • Wet H2S sour hydrocarbon service
  • Sour gas processing and treating
  • NACE regulated refinery services
  • Corrosive and toxic fluid transfer
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does this pump meet NACE MR0175?
A: Yes. Wetted parts are CRA clad or duplex with hardness controlled to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 limits and documented by certificate.
Q: Why choose CRA cladding over solid alloy?
A: CRA cladding gives the corrosion and cracking resistance of a high alloy at the wetted surface with a more economical structural base.
Q: Which seal is recommended for H2S?
A: Double or tandem seals with a compatible barrier fluid are recommended to contain toxic H2S and protect personnel.
Q: What documentation is supplied?
A: NACE material certificates, hardness reports, hydrostatic test certificates and dimensional reports are provided.
